Il y a quelques années, United Autosport régnait en maitre sur le LMP2. Il faut croire que le roi a été renversé. En effet les Oreca 07-Gibson n°22 et 23 n'ont pas vraiment animé l'édition 2025. Qualifiées aux 4 et cinquièmes rangs du LMP2 à 4 et 5 10emes, les voitures de l'United Autosport sont un peu étouffées par le rythme des concurrents en couse et se retrouvent 12 et 17emes en fin de première heure. Si la n°22 réussira à rester dans la première moitié du classement elle ne pourra malgré tout pas faire mieux que 7eme à 3 tours. La n°23 quant à elle se retrouvera rapidement en fond de classement et finira onzième du LMP2 à 4 tours du vainqueur.
A couple of years ago, United Autosport was the king in LMP2. It seems today the king has been overthrown. In fact the n° 22 and 23 Oreca 7-Gibson were not really animating the race. Qualified 4th and 5th on the LMP2 grid at 4 and 5 tenths of a seconds, they were quickly outpaced by the rythm of their competitors and were lying 12 and 17th of the LMP2 at the end of the first hour. If the n°22 managed to stay in the first part of the pack it was not able anyway to make a better result than the 7th under the chequered flag, 3 laps behind the class winer. N°23 was quicky delayed, racing all time at the end of the pack and finished 11th in LMP2, 4 laps behind the LMP2 leader.
