Cette année encore, les deux Oreca 07 du team WRT faisaient partie des favoris du LMP2. Pourtant, même si elle réussit à mener la catégorie durant le 15eme tour, la n°31 ne parviendra pas à se sortir du milieu de tableau (enfin tout est relatif en LMP2 car elle finira cinquième à 1 tour), alors que sa conseur n°41 montera progressivement en puissance et sera régulièrement aux avants postes au point de devenir une menace permanente pour l'Oreca n°34. Malgré une stratégie quasi parfaite, 39 tours en tête et un final endiablé, Andrade, Delétraz et Kubica ne parviendront pas à reprendre les 21 secondes qui les séparent de la victoire.

This year, the WRT Orecas were again part of the favourite group for the LMP2 win. If the n°31 was briefly leading the class during the 15th lap, it was unable to be more than part of the "following then"(considering in LMP2, everything is relative because this car will finish the race 5th). Its sistercar, n°41, will get in sthengh progressively and will be regularly in the group of the leaders, so much they became to be a constant threat for the n°34 Oreca. Despite a nearly perfect strategy, 39 laps lead and a final race with hot laps times, Andrade, Delétraz and Kubica will fail to catch up the 21 seconds gap for the victory.
