Ce même numéro était celui de l'horreur il y a douze mois et l'Aston Martin n°95, toujours avec un équipage 100% Dannois, tenait à prendre sa revanche sur le mauvais sort.
Menant une course sage, mais solide, la n°95 laissait passer les premières heures et laissait les lièvres s'essouffler pour prendre le commandement de la catégorie LM GTE-Am durant la première heure du dimanche.
Toujours réguliers, Kristian Poulsen, David Heinemeier Hansson et Nicki Thiim dominerons alors la catégorie et boucleront en tête 209 de leurs 329 tours.
Une fois sur la plus haute marche du Podium, ils dédieront leur victoire à Allan Simonsen.

With a relatively moderate pace, the Aston Vantage n°95 let the pacemakers of the first hours struggle and took the lead of the category during the first hour of Sunday. Always regulars with a good pace, Kristian Poulsen, David Heinemeier Hansson and Nicki Thiim
will always dominate the GTE-Am and will be in the lead during 208 of their 329 laps.
Once on the higher step of the podium, they dedicated their victory to Allan Simonsen.
