De retour officiellement en endurance cette année, et en prélude à son offensive LMP1 de 2014, Porsche engage deux
nouvelles 9144 RSR en GTE-Pro.
Malmenées par les Aston-Martin depuis le début du championnat, les officielles de Stuttgart tiennent cette fois ci parfaitement leur rang,
la 92 étant toujours aux contact des Vantage n° 97 et 99. La bataille fut épique de bout en bout, avec moins de 10 secondes décart
entre la 97 et la 92 au bout de 23 heures de course.
Gérant au mieux les dernières averses et profitant des ennuis de l'Aston Martin, les 911 RSR se sont octroyées un magnifique doublé,
Lieb, Lietz et Dumas imposant leur n°92 devant Bergmeister, Pilet et Bernhard.
Doit on considérer cette victoire comme un avertissement aux concurrents LMP1 2014 ?

Mistreated by the Aston Martin Vantages in the first races of the World Endurance Championship, the cars from Stuttgart are this time in the right pace, always
running with the Astons 99 and 97. At the beginning of the last hour the gap between the leading n°97 and the Porche n°92 is about only 10 seconds !
Managing at best the lasts showers and taking advantage of the problems of the Aston n°97, the two 911 grant themeselves a wonderfull two in a row,
the car driven by Lieb, Lietz and Dumas imposing the n°91 in front of the n°91 of Bergmeister, Pilet and Bernhard.
Shall we consider this victory as a warning for LMP1 opponents in 2014 ?
