Impossible pour Yves Courage de briguer un podium cette année. Bentley et Audi sont de toutes façons
trop forts mais rien n'empêche de viser la première place des "autres". Evolution de la C60 judd de 2002, la
C60JX apportera sa pierre à la furieuse bataille pour la cinquième place qui l'opposera aux Panoz, aux
Pescarolo, et à la Dome de Lammers.
Longtemps aux avants postes, ne concédant qu'un minimum de temps aux stands, la 13 sera passée par la Panoz
dans le dernier tour au terme d'un duel d'anthologie. Comble d'infortune, un embrayage a bout se souffle ne lui permettra
pas de résister aux retour de Lammers et la Courage finira septième. 1 Km la séparera de la
cinquième place au bout de 24 Heures de ronde infernale...
Impossible for Yves Courage to step a foot on the podium this year. With Bentley and Audi coming out in force,
there was still nothing to stop them aiming for 1st place in the "None VW" category. With the new upgraded
C60JX, the team threw everything they had to fight for the 5th place against Panoz, Pescarolos and Dome.
Forever in the shadows, wasting no time in the pits, the no 13 was overatken in last lap of a battle which "really" took
24 Hours, rightfully giving the racetrack it's name. Riddled with a bad luck of a clutch that would hold out till the end
gave Lammers the edge and the Courage finished 7th. 1 Km was all that separated them from the 5th place
after 24 Hours of hell going round and round circles.
